Harlem River Community Rowing

The change was inspired by our mission--to promote affordable, accessible rowing opportunities for all New Yorkers.  We are excited to contribute to the re-emergence of the Harlem River, a historic location for rowing, and committed to making rowing an activity that engages a diverse body of individuals in a common activity. While we support all forms of non-motorized boating, we are focused on the type of rowing also known as flat-water or Olympic rowing. We feel the name Harlem River Community Rowing more precisely reflects our mission, and we look forward to continued collaboration with all of the wonderful organizations and volunteers who have helped us grow so far.
