Introduction To Rowing at Sherman Creek
Harlem River Community Rowing is pleased to host an Introduction To Rowing which will present the basics of flat-water or “Olympic” rowing to new boaters of all ages. Adults and youth may test their strength on ergometers (rowing machines). Experienced rowers will lead an up-close look at a rowing shell and watch a rowing demonstration. Landlubbers and small children can take part in nautically-themed crafts activities and an environmental experiment. Click here to see pictures from the event!

National Learn-to-Row Day Festival!!!

Join HRCR for our 2nd Annual National Learn-To-Row Day Festival! Free festival activities include on-water and on-land rowing instruction taught by HRCR's superb all-volunteer coaching staff, an introduction to the racing shell (parts and lingo) and arts and crafts for younger festival goers. Email us at info@HarlemRiverCR.org for more info. Volunteers welcome!
